Abstracts dealing with the following topics can be submitted:
comprehensive characterization of waste of different origin using modern research techniques,
automation of waste collection and sorting processes,
valorization of industrial by-products and waste materials,
valorization of agricultural and food-based biomass,
sustainable solutions in materials science,
sustainable polymer materials,
environmentally-friendly engineered wood materials,
thermal, thermochemical and thermomechanical conversion of wastes,
reduction of environmental and health impacts of waste-based materials,
environmental degradation of waste-based materials,
recycling and upcycling processes.
Instructions for Authors
please indicate the desired type of presentation – oral presentation or poster,
abstract should not exceed two pages,
use A4 page set-up and make all margins (top, bottom, left, right) 25 mm wide,
keep the formatting for title, Authors’ list, affiliations, presenting Author email and keywords,
use Times New Roman font, 10 pt for main text,
justify the body of the text and start each paragraph with indent,
do not use page numbers,
name the file SWMMS2026_Oral_Surname of presenting Author or SWMMS2026_Poster_Surname of presenting Author, depending on the preferences,
upload abstract in .pdf format,
for tables, figures and references, use formatting presented in template.
